The PFVCC

Week 9 posed some questions such as: does home field matter anymore? Is CM’s time to strike coming? And is KS a part of a timeshare vacation club of the Penthouse? All valid questions, and ones that need answering in week 10 and beyond. Questions aside, this week belonged to CM, LF & PM as they all were able to bring in a 10 spot to the positive side of the ledger. With SS securing 9, all move one step closer to the leader and look to continue the momentum. BS, MM and DJ also were a part of that 9 win club and although they didn’t make up any ground on the week, they proved that they are in the fight. Perhaps most disappointed on the week is KS, who after his 8 wins finds himself packing and returning his Penthouse keys once again. A truly tough reality for someone with so many refurb plans in the works With those plans on hold and SS left to his lonesome, which he unapologetically prefers, its back to the drawing board for KS.

Loners were relatively quiet as loners have gone to this point in the season. We had two willing warriors in MS and PM and only one walked away victorious. MS, although a valiant effort, fell short of his prize as ATL couldn’t overcome NE in a hard fought battle. PM on the other hand was able to secure a victory with PIT over IND and spends his week celebrating his gutsy pick. Good form PM!

Halfway home and as we head closer to the stretch drive I think it’s fair to say that everyone is feeling a bit more pressure to make a move. SS is the man to chase but plenty of members remain in striking distance. Will someone make a move in week 10 or will SS be able to fend off his competitors? See you back next week as the drama unfolds.

Your President & Champ,

LF
