The PFVCC

The week 10 slate brought much to talk about as the GOO was a hot topic going in. Many members had their sights set high and with SS as the lone man in the Penthouse he was hoping to enjoy himself and perhaps put more breathing room between himself and the field. Monday night passed and before the clock hit midnight he saw headlights coming up the driveway. “Who now?” He muttered. But the lumbering steps and jingle of the keys he heard from outside the door sounded all too familiar. Who came plowing through the door moments later was none other than the 10 win man, KS who SS was just about getting tired of at this point. SS just rolled his eyes and walked back to the master bedroom without acknowledgment. KS didn’t seem surprised by this and just yelled, “I’m like a cat!! 9 lives baby!” In SS’ haste to get to his room he didn’t notice the bag of cornucopias and gourds KS was carrying, and it’s probably best that he didn’t... Somewhere less extravagant LF was celebrating his 10 wins and is just happy to be back within striking distance. CM, NF, MM and DP all scored 9 wins a piece and can chalk this one up as a push as they gained no ground on the leaderboard. No harm no foul, but with 8 weeks left membership is beginning to get antsy as they know the stretch drive is on the horizon. With KS and SS playing musical chairs and keeping up appearances in the Penthouse, the field hopes this type of distraction leads to a lapse in judgement on the pick board.

Loner warriors MM and DP tested their hand in week 10. DP folded with ATL while MM doubled down with NE and cashed in big. A nice try to DP and a well played to MM!
