The Three Bros Notch 10 Wins; KS & SS Decide On Landscape
Week 8 Proves Tough For the Field As The Standings Thin Out
Effective date: 2025-10-28
It was another week that tested members to their limits and lead to some lost ground on the leaderboard. KS and SS retain their keys to the Penthouse with their 10 wins, joined in success by none other than their namesake, BS who keeps the pace. BS remains intent on making the climb to join, or more importantly, knock off SS and KS before they get too comfortable. As of Tuesday morning, they had a landscaper out to look at the Penthouse yard and word has spread that they are looking into a โMagnolia Laneโ vibe with an Augusta style PFVCC leaderboard posted in the front yard. Not the craziest idea theyโve had, but a risky one, as they better hope they donโt find themselves falling out of the top spot and footing the bill for their successor. Speaking of, CM only sits 2 games back after his 9 win performance that he shared with MM. Although not the leaders on the week, not much was lost in the week 8 fight and they both can see a road to contention. LF wraps up top honors with 8 wins, and although part of the โhonorsโ, taking a 2 game skid in the standings felt dis-honorary. Nonetheless, he shares the same sentiments as the remaining members who all lost ground. With a new week approaching, the question is, will KS and SS be able to continue their refurb project, or will someone else have other ideas?
Three loners were on display and one ended in victory. That win belonged to BS as his pick of HOU came to play. DJ and DP were our other two members featured, but not for the right reasons. Phenomenal pick by BS to put the cap on a solid week and a better luck next time to DJ and DP.
Week 9 approaches and although football is why we gather, I will take this time to sayโฆ GO DODGERS!
Your President & Champ,
LF
