The PFVCC

Week 17 came and went much like 2023 leaving us looking around and thinking, “woah where did the season go?” Regardless of positioning, it has been a blast of a season and, as it regularly does, the PFVCC has given us more drama to unfold heading into the final chapter. This season has been a battle and one that has seen lots of ups and downs by individual teams and with players battling injuries making parity the talk of this NFL season. After 17 weeks of nail biting picks and stressful Sundays we are left with what looks to be a two horse race between DP and LF heading into the final week. That was solidified this last week as the two had no differences on the GOO board and posted 12-4 weeks along with SS to take top honors and making any opportunity to be caught just a wish and a prayer. Just behind those three were the trio of BS, KS and DJ who grabbed 11 wins of their own. Some great picking down the stretch gents!

We had four loner picks by four different members this past week and of the four only one was able to escape with a victory. CM, MS and PM fought valiantly, but were left with nothing to show for their gutsy picking. MM was our lone victor taking NO over TB to show off his stripes! Great take MM!

So here we are, a New Year and the final week of the PFVCC season. DP sits in control of his destiny with a 1 game lead. Does he have what it takes to close things out and hoist his second Title? LF hopes to have something to say about it, but he will have to prove that he is able to get over the hump... With the stage set for a great week 18 I wish you all a Happy New Year and best of luck on a strong finish to the season!!

Your President,

LF
