The PFVCC

Week 18 has come to a close and with it all of the unknown GOO and anxiousness has given way to our newest PFVCC Champion, DP!! Huge congratulations to DP on a phenomenal season as well as a hip hip hooray (pause for the crowd) on capturing his 2nd Title of his career. It was hard fought down the stretch but DP proved week in and week out that he was built for this and he was able to shut the door to the penthouse on LF’s face when it mattered most by posting an 11-5 record! Well earned and now he can relax in the comfort of the Kings chair and enjoy the fruits of his labor as we take a trip back to remember just how special this DP season was.

For DP, the first third of the season was him testing the waters to figure out when he wanted to make his move but he made sure that he never fell out of a comfortable position. Between weeks 1 and 6 DP never was down more that 4 games, but when we look back week 7 will always be remembered as the week he flipped the switch. If you remember, or just want to click on the week 7 at a glance page (thanks boys in IT), it was a MIP week for all but DP. He went 10-3 while no other member logged more than 6 victories, providing the launch to the top of the leaderboards where he sat for the next 12 weeks on his way to hoisting the Trophy. Over the course of the season DP went 4-6 on loner picks and logged a 66.5% winning percentage which, past years have told us, will almost always get the job done. Well done DP!

A final wrap on another entertaining year in the great league of the PFVCC! LF claims his third straight 2nd place finish, but goes down swinging to a true Champion in DP! Cheers to DP, and we look forward to celebrating his second championship at the annual Pig Dinner!

Your President,

LF
