The PFVCC

Christmas and week 16 has come and gone just as fast as it came, leaving us to pick up the torn wrapping paper and ribbon all while peaking at the results of a loaded week in football. Whether or not you received gifts from your wish list this year, Santa was sure to stuff our stockings with the great game of football. SS showed us all what the true meaning of Christmas is by performing when the lights get brightest and going 12-4. Some may say that SS is down and out, but with as many podium finishes as he has to his name he has set himself up with a chance at another here in the late stages. PM had a nice holiday himself, posting 11 wins all the while BS brought in 10 of his own to round out our double digit victors. Great picking by those mentioned! As for the two leaders heading in, neither DP or LF had great weeks but DP was good enough to get the edge in round 1 of the penthouse brawl. LF now plays chase again and is destined to sleep outside in the yard while DP enjoys the comforts of luxury as they both prep for round 2. Week 17 is loading as 2023 comes to a close. Who will end it on a high note? Stay tuned!

PM and CM were our two lone rangers in week 16 and both battled to the bitter end! PM looked like a genius as his pick ATL demolished IND all while CM’s CAR barely lost at the hands of GB. Amazing pick by PM and a tough loss by CM but regardless, membership thanks you both for putting yourselves on the line, especially during the holidays!

Two weeks left to play and this has all the makings of an exciting finish. Lots to play for to finish the year off right and with that I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year. Cheers to you and the great game of football!

Your President,

LF
