The PFVCC

Week 8 was a “get right” week for membership as there were plenty of wins to go ‘round to give everyone a little jolt of confidence. Most confident of the bunch this week goes to LF who tallied 12 wins to lead the picking onslaught and put his name at the top of the standings. One can only assume he’s feeling great about his week and his positioning going forward, but that’s neither here nor there in the eyes of his competition. Speaking of, MM, KS, SS and MS were able to carve out 11 wins of their own and keep themselves moving in the right direction. Phenomenal performances for all the members mentioned above, but if there’s one person to put on notice it’s MM who has been stalking the top spot the last few weeks. Like a tiger in the tall grass, it could only be a matter of time… Last but not least, as the finishing touches to a great week, honorable mentions go to SR, CM and PM with 10 wins. With most enjoying what week 8 brought, we look ahead to a big week 9. Who will step up, and who will step out?

There were four red-letter games in week 8 but only one proved to be worthy of loner glory. That glory belonged to PM this week as he was the only one bold enough to pick DEN over JAX. Well played, PM! Of the remaining three loners, 2 belonged to DR- CAR and GB, and the other to DP with his pick of DET. Admirable efforts by the both of you.

So here we sit, as the weather begins to change and the days get shorter we are headed to week 9 for more answers.

Your President,

LF
