The PFVCC

Only a week removed from whispers of a MIP sighting, and it seems like membership put that to bed…at least for now. NF and SR lead the charge as they both had impressive 11 win weeks, which was good enough to see NF make a leap into a tie for the top spot and to put SR just a game out. Much needed performances from these two who had a tough go of it just a week ago. Great picking you two! CM made moves of his own as he was able to rip off 10 wins and give himself a boost of confidence which he hopes will carry him through the middle part of the season. Solid work CM! Taking a quick scope of the landscape as we look forward to week 8 and beyond, we currently have 8 members that are separated by just 3 games. With everyone scrapping for each win, the competition is as tight as it has been and its great to see!

DP and PM were our fearless loner leaders in week 7 as DP logged 1 and PM with a hefty 4 spot. DP was unsuccessful on his single shot with IND falling short of TEN. PM split his attempts going 2-2 and breaking even on the week which wasn’t exactly what he was looking for but was worth recognition! Solid attempts from the two of ‘ya.

Finally, I must apologize as my excitement for the weekly recaps has led me to overlook some lofty achievements from a couple of our members. First, SR became just the 5th member of the 5k win club! 5,000 wins and 5,000 more on the way! Well done SR! Next we recognize a feat that no member ever has in our PFVCC history. A huge congratulations to the first ever 6,000 game winner, SS!! What a feat that is, and just shows the dedication and determination to be a winner week in and week out. A huge Hip-Hip Hooray for both SR and SS on their respective accolades!

On to week 8!

Your President,
