The PFVCC

After months of waiting, studying, predicting, and presumably telling everyone how this was going to be “their year,” the PFVCC has finally returned. Week 1 is officially in the books, and boy was it an exciting opening act. Two members wasted no time putting themselves at the top of the leaderboard as KS and PM both finished with 12 winners, going 12–4 and setting the early pace. Right behind them is a five-man logjam, with BS, CM, LF, MM and NF all sitting at 11–5. The difference between first and the middle of the pack is just one game—which means absolutely nothing this early, but will undoubtedly be brought up repeatedly by whoever happens to be on top. KB and SS aren't far behind at 10–6, while DP opened the campaign at 9–7. And then we have MS, who chose a different path entirely, opening the season at 8–8. A lil lull them to sleep tactic I see! Good thing for him it’s only Week 1, and there is still a long way to go. But the first standings of the season are officially on the board—and for now, KS and PM have earned the right to talk.

Our opening loner news featured two members MS & DP. Unfortunately for them they didn’t make the headlines for the right reasons as their picks of IND and ATL didn’t have enough in the tank to overcome their matchups. Still, we give a salute to the confidence and audacity to be loners in week 1. Better luck next time!

It was a memorable opening week in football and I speak for everyone when I say it’s good to be back!! On to week 2 we go

Your Newlywed President,
