DJ and PM Get Served First On Thanksgiving Weekend

Top Of The Leaderboard Keeps It Amicable Headed Into The Stretch Drive

Effective date: 2025-12-02
In a week dedicated to giving the thanks and surrounding yourself with family and friends, CM and KS hosted a grand PFVCC Thanksgiving dinner at the Penthouse. All of membership was invited and although we are in a critical point in the season everyone put their differences asideโ€ฆ probably because differences couldnโ€™t be found among the top players. Five out of the top six in the standings had zero games of GOO which led to a quiet side of the dinner table. As the rest of membership got their beverages of choice and took their seats, a couple voices were louder than the rest. It was DJ and PM who, fresh off 11 win performances, had plates in hand and were already helping themselves to the elaborate spread that had been prepared. As they loaded up their plates with turkey, stuffing and all the thanksgiving heavy hitters DJ leaned over to PM and said, โ€œyou know they are lucky we havenโ€™t been been at the top of our games this season.โ€ PM nodded in agreement and then called out, โ€œhey KS, CM thanks for hosting..although the turkey looks a little dry.โ€ KS rolled his eyes and bit his tongue and dismissed the rest to make their plates. The rest of dinner carried on without a hitch as conversations were had about the upcoming stretch drive and finished off by remembering the greats in the HOF that have paved the way. No matter where members sat, all agreed on one thing. They were all just thankful to be apart of such a great league.

There were 5 loners on the across 4 pickers in week 13 and all but one left thankful. DJ, DP and MS won theirs while NF left with indigestion.

With Thanksgiving behind us and the end in sight, membership looks to close strong. Week 14 and beyond promises to be worth the watch.

Your President & Champ,

LF
