In a week of tough tests 9 wins proves to be enough

DP and BS share the limelight; as the rest of membership looks for answers

Effective date: 2023-11-14
Eleven. That was number of games in week 10 that were decided by one score or less. Eleven out of fourteen that you could talk yourself Into going either way. But as the great game of football often does, it leaves us thinking about a few โ€œwhat ifโ€ moments from each contest. What if that penalty wasnโ€™t called? What if so and so didnโ€™t miss that extra point? What if that receiver didnโ€™t step out of bounds? Every one of those what ifs could tilt the momentum and ultimately itโ€™s just about which side you end up on. DP and BS were on the right side more than the rest as they were able to tally a 9-5 record to lead the way in a week 10 that otherwise wasnโ€™t very rewarding. With this DP wedges another game between him and the field as BS is rewarded with just keeping pace with the leaderโ€ฆ In a week like this its about the small victories. That leaves the fieldโ€ฆLF, SS, MM, KS and DJ all bring in 8 wins to keep the wheels turning while NF and PM log 7 wins. MS and CM and our visitor picking quartet pocket their 6 wins and have already made the trek toward week 11 silently. Week 10 gave us everything it had and we all fought valiantly. All what ifs aside, there is only one thing that is certain to this point. DP is the man to chase.

Five Loners were on display in week 10 and here is how they unfolded. PM picked NE, WAS and DEN and of the three, DEN was the only team up to the test. LF got bold and took LAC but it proved too bold against DET. Finally, DP tried his hand at a loner with ARZ and Kyler Murray and company took care of business in the desert to put him over the top. Big wins for DP and PM!

10 down, 8 to go! We push onward to week 11!

Your President,

LF
