The PFVCC

Week 3 has come and gone, and it was one that was met with solid showings for most as membership seems to be settling in. It was a week that was full of lopsided scoring outputs, loner picks aplenty, and of course, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating rumors confirmed. Oh football, how you never disappoint. Also not disappointing were KS, MS and LF as they picked their way to 12 wins for top honors. That was enough to see them climb in the standings, most notably KS, who has quickly went from worst to first in a 3 week span. All this to say, the tides can change pretty quick here in the PFVCC so keep a steady eye on the horizon. Following the 12 win trio were the 11 win cuatro of DP, CM, SS and BS. With this, DP shakes hands with KS at the top, and the rest of the standings stay tightly woven together here in the early stages.

Week 3 also gave way to our biggest loner pick showing to date as we had 5 games highlighted in red. Our newest member, DJ, was the boldest of the bunch as he selected 3 loners and went 1-2. IND was victorious while WAS and NO weren’t up to the task. DJ, we appreciate the guts. You are one of us! MS was next with his CAR pick, which unfortunately for him went the way of SEA. Finally, PM picked DEN over MIA who were never given a chance. At any rate DJ, MS and PM, you came out swinging and that can never be taken from you!

Week 3 is completed and I will leave you with this...

A test of endurance. This is what defines the PFVCC season. The ups and the downs and how you respond to those rises and falls is what builds a champion. In only a few short weeks you have been given a taste of the competition. Week 4 approaches, let’s see who responds. Goodluck Gents!

Your President,

LF
