KS and DP share the limelight in week 2

11 winners to lead the pack; CM and MS follow closely behind

Effective date: 2023-09-19
Week 2 has come and gone and left us with two standouts that took care of their business. KS and DP showed membership what they are made of as they picked their way to an 11-5 record in another tough week early on in this NFL season. After not getting off to the hottest start in week 1 they were primed for a bounce back week and bounce back they did. KS even took to the message board earlier in the week to reference his underwhelming opening week and it seems to have spurred on some inner motivation. Great performances KS and DP! CM and MS also had solid outings in week 2 as they were able to reach double figures in the win column with 10, the last of the bunch to do so. The rest of membership were left staring at either 8 or 9 wins which has them thirsty to prove themselves next weekโ€ฆ Speaking from experience, I feel confident that many feel the same. NF is still the man to chase as we make our way to the week 3 pick sheet. Who is ready to lace up their running shoes?

We had a trio of loner picks to break down this week, as a couple of members broke onto the scene for the first time in the 2023 campaign. MM, a regular to the loner board, and LF combined for the three games that were on notice. MM went 1-1 in his picks as ATL pulled off the upset over GB, while ARZ couldnโ€™t fend off NYG down the stretch. Close to going 2-0, but Iโ€™m sure MM will live with the split. LF went out on a limb betting against Patrick Mahomes and KC, and hindsight is 20-20 as he sits in sorrow with an L next to his JAX pick. A bold attempt, but one that was unrewarded.

Week 3 is not but a few days away, which means more opportunities for greatness! Who wants to be great!? We will have that answer soonโ€ฆ

Your president,

LF
