And they’re off!! The much anticipated start to the NFL season has come and went, and with it, brought plenty of wins to PFVCC pickers alike. BS and SS were top dogs to open the 2025 campaign as they both seemingly spent the off-season grinding and finished week 1 with a 14-2 record to show for it. Top spot on the leaderboard isn’t a bad way to start gents, well done! The father-son duo of KS and MS were next in the pecking order as they boast 13 wins a piece, followed closely by DJ and LF with 12 to round out the top 6. Honorable mentions to CM, MM and PM who all finished with 11 wins and are left feeling not too shabby themselves. The rest of membership have been heard clamoring about it being a “feel it out” opening week and are prime candidates for a redemption tour next weekend. No matter how your pick sheet looks at this point, there is one thing we all can agree on… Thank goodness football is back!

Our first loner news segment of the season and would it really count if MM wasn’t a part of it? Probably not. Unfortunately for him the spotlight ran out of battery and left him in the dark without a win as CLE lost in a close one to CIN. Regardless, you deserve a fist bump for the boldness MM.
