The PFVCC

There we were a week ago, with confidence and oh so looking forward to a great week 7. The 13 game slate didn’t look very daunting and looking up and down at the matchups, all but a few looked like fairly easy locks to come out victorious on the other side of the weekend. The picks filed in as they always do and all but one member’s pick sheet looked fairly reasonable and straight forward. DP was that one member that stood against the rest as he planned a trip to loner island for the weekend. He packed his bags with the usual vacation items- A good book, some loose fitting Hawaiian shirts and his pick sheet which was heavily laden with red writing below his initials. All was right in the world as he left the mainland for the peace and quiet that is loner island. The rest took to the weekend as they usually do, but ultimately disaster struck. Like the plague, The MIP wreaked havoc on the mainland destroying records and win%’s alike. DP returned from his trip slightly more tan, with a new outlook on the season as he now sits in the lead behind his 10-3 performance. Logging at least 4 more wins than anyone else, DP was able to leap 7 members on his way to collecting his keys from the penthouse landlord. An incredible week, and one that proves that sometimes a getaway is needed for mental clarity, and maybe if you’re lucky you’ll escape the MIP in the process.

Here is your week 7 loner news...NF felt the bitter pain of a tough L as IND couldn’t get the job done in the final seconds. Sorry NF. Loner island rewards member DP went 3 for 4 on his loners and with it gains much respect from the rest. MM also gets his hands on a win with his MIN pick. Fine picking DP and MM!!
