The PFVCC

Week 5 was another great week of football, and as we’ve had time to think back to our picks and wonder about the what if’s and why not’s we are ultimately left looking up at DP and his gutty performance. Going 12-4 on the week, he not only took top honors but also replaced NF as the man to chase at the top of the standings. A truly masterful performance DP! Unfortunately for NF, he took a skid in the opposite direction and after a quick start to his season he now finds himself looking for a bounce back performance after being bruised and beaten in week 5. Stay strong and take it from a few PFVCC members that have been around that block, BS, SR and MM battled tooth and nail and were able to take away 11 wins a piece to show for their efforts. A great showing during a tough week you three!

Our loner column belongs to two members this week, NF and PM. NF added insult to injury as his CLE pick lost in heartbreaker against LAC. Sorry NF. PM came out loner ready as he had 4 on the books and went a steady 2/4 enough to receive some recognition for the boldness.

Now, we head deeper into the heart of the season where the plot thickens week to week. DP shined here in week 5 and now is the one with the target on his back. NF has had his taste and wants it back, and a handful of tried and tested members that have once had their name engraved on the now two-tiered trophy are waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Week 6 is on its way. Best of luck my friends!

Your President,
